Try a Medical-Grade Hyperhidrosis Treatment at Home

Not suitable for everyone. Please don't use Saalio® iontophoresis if you have a pacemaker or ICD, are pregnant, or have metal implants in the current path. See who shouldn't use it.

Choosing a treatment for hyperhidrosis is an important decision, and it’s natural to feel a little unsure about which option is right for your needs. The Saalio® Device Hire Program is designed to remove that uncertainty. It allows you to trial the Saalio® tap water iontophoresis device in the comfort of your home, giving you the chance to experience the results for yourself before making a commitment.

This low-commitment trial is perfect for first-time users who want to assess how their body responds to iontophoresis, a clinically established, drug-free method for managing hyperhidrosis of the hands, feet and underarms.

A Simple Path to Confidence

The Hire Program provides everything you need to get started. For 3 or 4 weeks, you can use the Saalio® device to see how effective a professional-grade iontophoresis machine can be for your hyperhidrosis.

  • Try Before You Buy: Experience the benefits firsthand. If you decide to buy within 30 days of your hire ending, your full hire fee is credited toward the purchase.
  • No Bond Required: We want to make this process as straightforward as possible. There is no security bond needed to start your trial.
  • Complete Kit Included: Your hire comes with the Saalio® control unit, accessories for treating hands, feet, underarms, or all three, and a comprehensive user guide. Everything is included to begin treatment immediately.
  • Local Australian Support: As an Australian company, we are here to support you throughout your trial.

Saalio® is a Class IIa medical device included in the ARTG (496206). Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Your hire kit contains everything you need to start your trial:

  • Saalio® AX, DE, or 3-in-1 Device
  • Pre-paid return shipping (we email your label when you need it)
  • Customer support throughout your trial
  • Complete Instruction Manual with therapy protocols and safety guidelines

Taking the first step is simple and transparent. Here’s how the Saalio® Hire Program works:

  1. Select Your Hire Duration: Choose the length of trial that fits your needs.
  2. Complete the Agreement: You’ll receive a Hire Agreement to read and sign, ensuring clarity and peace of mind.
  3. Submit Your ID: Provide a valid Australian ID to confirm your booking.
  4. Device Ships to You: We’ll send your device, including everything you need to begin treatment at home.
  5. Begin Your Treatment: Start your iontophoresis sessions using the step-by-step guide provided.
  6. We Check In: About a week before your hire ends, we’ll email you personally to see how you’re going.
  7. Decide: If the device is right for you, your hire fee is fully credited toward your own Saalio®. If not, we’ll email a prepaid label so you can send it back.

The Saalio® Hire Program is a short-term home trial. Each customer may hire a device once to ensure fair access for everyone. Extensions are considered only if you intend to purchase.

We hired the Saalio for a month for hands - found it to be very effective - easy to use and SudorCure very professional and helpful - they sent everything promptly and gave thorough instructions. We ended up purchasing a machine but it was great to have the hire cost deducted and it was an easy process.

genuinely made such a difference in such a small amount of time! there’s of course lots of trial and error to find what works best for you, but the sudorcure team are so helpful and supportive with any questions you may have! absolutely loved my experience

How Saalio® works.

Primary hyperhidrosis is thought to come from overactive nerves that switch on the sweat glands. It most often affects the hands, feet and underarms, and usually starts in childhood or the teens.

With Saalio®, a gentle current that you set passes through shallow tap water or water-soaked sponge pouches to the skin. It’s thought to calm the signal between the nerves and the sweat glands. Nothing is blocked and the glands themselves aren’t changed. With regular sessions, a first reduction in sweating is often noticed after 10 to 14 days, which is why a three or four week hire gives you time to see how your skin responds.

The Saalio® instructions for use cover technique, suitability and contraindications in full.

Instructions for use and guides

Hire the set you need.

Hands and feet, underarms, or all three with the 3-in-1 system.

Hands

Your hands rest in shallow trays of tap water, just enough to wet your palms and the lower third of your fingers.

Feet resting in two Saalio® iontophoresis trays of tap water during a treatment for plantar hyperhidrosis

Feet

Your feet rest in the water-filled trays. Feet often need a slightly higher current than hands, because the skin is thicker.

Underarms

Sponge pouches soaked in tap water sit under each arm, damp but not dripping, with a flexible silicone electrode inside each one.

Diagram comparing direct current, steady for the whole session, with pulsed current, delivered in short bursts

Two current types, set to your comfort.

Saalio® offers direct current (DC) and pulsed current (PC). Both are fully adjustable, so you can set a level that feels noticeable but never painful.

Direct current (DC)
Steady for the whole session. Based on experience it’s the more effective of the two, so it’s the recommended starting point.
Pulsed current (PC)
Short bursts that feel gentler, so higher levels can be tolerated. It’s usually less effective, so it suits sensitive skin, small hands and feet, or maintenance.
Start low
Begin your first session at 1 to 3 mA and increase gradually until you can feel it. It should never be painful.
AUTO mode
Switches the current direction during the session, so both sides are treated evenly.

Always read the instructions for use.

Your treatment plan.

Regular sessions matter more than a high current. A treatment tracker makes it easy to log each session.

Getting started

A session at least every second day, each lasting at least 15 minutes per area. Start on direct current at 1 to 3 mA, treat hands and feet separately, and change the current direction regularly or use AUTO mode. A first reduction in sweating is often noticed after 10 to 14 days. Keep going until sweating is down to the level you want, which may take a further 3 to 4 weeks.

Maintenance

Ease into maintenance by adding rest days between sessions. Maintenance is typically once a week for 15 to 20 minutes, and some people can go weeks between treatments as their response builds over time.

The effect is temporary. If treatment is paused, sweating may gradually return, and resuming your routine typically restores results.
