Our journey creating SudorCure began with one of our founders’ personal experience with hyperhidrosis.

After years of silently struggling, trying treatments that were either ineffective, difficult to access, or came with unwanted side effects, the condition felt incredibly isolating. Growing up, it impacted almost every part of life. From the physical discomfort to the emotional toll, the anxiety and self-consciousness caused by excessive sweating was overwhelming.

When I opened up to my partner, now co-founder of SudorCure, we realised that excessive sweating is far more common than people think. Although he had not experienced hyperhidrosis in the same way, he had faced his own challenges with excessive sweating. That shared understanding of the emotional and physical impact, even at different levels of severity, became the foundation for creating treatments that could support more people.

We recognised that in Australia and New Zealand, treatment options remain limited, expensive, and rarely discussed. We knew there had to be a better way to help.

After many rounds of trial and error, and countless hours of research, we discovered iontophoresis. This safe and non-invasive treatment has been widely used in Europe and North America to successfully manage hyperhidrosis. We are proud to be the first Australian company to offer a TGA approved iontophoresis device, provided by industry-leading manufacturers.

At the same time, we recognised that not everyone is ready for a clinical device. That is why we developed SudorGuard, our own antiperspirant spray, created to offer a more accessible and affordable option for sweat management.

By creating SudorCure, we have turned our personal experiences into something we hope will help many others feel understood, supported, and more comfortable in their own skin.
