SudorCure began with lived experience of hyperhidrosis, and a simple aim: to make good treatment easier to find, understand and access in Australia and New Zealand.
Where it started.
Our journey began with a personal and often isolating struggle: living with hyperhidrosis. Our founder spent years quietly managing excessive sweating, from the constant physical discomfort to the anxiety and self-consciousness that came with it.
Searching for treatment was daunting. Most options were hard to access, offered little relief, or came with unwanted side effects, and that only deepened the sense of isolation so many people feel.
In Australia and New Zealand, treatment choices were limited, often costly, and rarely talked about openly. We believed there had to be a more accessible way to help people feel comfortable and confident again.
Finding iontophoresis.
After a lot of research and trial and error, we found tap water iontophoresis: a non-invasive treatment used for hyperhidrosis in Europe and North America for decades. We set out to bring it home.
Not everyone needs, or is ready for, a medical device. So we also developed SudorGuard, our own clinical-strength antiperspirant spray, as a more accessible place to start.
